Head Shave for Rikkis Refuge and Birmingham Dogs Home

Hello everyone.As most of you know when i was well and active i was very hands on helping animals whether it be standing with a tin in Birmingham City Centre collecting money for the RSPCA or helping shutting down puppy farms etc etcSince ive become poorly and now housebound i feel completely useless :(Paul knows how down this makes me feel and he said the other evening,just because your stuck in the house doesnt mean you cant help the animals jayne.So we put our thinking caps on and decided that a good way to raise money would be for Paul to shave my hair off and ask you guys to sponsor me.Its so hard choosing which charities/organisations to help because they ALL need help.My all time favourite Refuge is The Wonderful Rikkis Refuge.The work the staff do is incredible.They help many many different animals.Can you imagine how much it costs to just feed these animals everyday thats apart from Vets Bills,upkeep of the Refuge etc etc.Im sure most of you are friends with Vincent Cat who works tirelessly everyday keeping us up to date with all the lastest news,fundraising etc etc.They really are FANTASTIC.I have to help them.Im sure most of you are aware they really are struggling financially right now so together we can ALL do our bit to help them.The other place we want to help is The Marvellous Birmingham Dogs Home.They are full to capacity :( :( and are running a campaign/advertisement explaining that just 30p will buy a dog a dinner.Yet again i really feel that we can make a REAL difference.I know with Christmas just around the corner things are tight but its meant to be The Season of Goodwill.All we are asking is if you would kindly sponsor me for a dollar or two.The Head Shave itself will take place via Video on the 22nd December on the day of my Christmas party(on facebook),ill post the link on the event page.I hope you can all attend so youll all be able to watch it .Together we really can make a difference.The shave will be on the 22nd but this page will end on the 23rd.All monies raised will be split evenly and all recepts will be shown thereafter.Paul will take me to The Dogs Home on the 24th to personally give them their contribution where we will take photos and meet a few of the doggies too :)Vincent Cat and Rikkis Refuge will have their money transferred over to their account on the same day xxx Im very HAPPY to do it as its all in a very good cause :) :) Please dont worry i have plenty of hats :) :) and my hair grows very fast :)ThankyouJayne Ashmore
